This page is dedicated to lucky my dearest dog who sits patiently beside me as I build this homepage. |
This is lucky yet again. We have took new pictures of this little wriggle of dog . She is sleping peacefully on the sofa now. Don't be deceived by her serene looks on her angel-like face.I know, I know, she can steal your hearts in a split second. I understand your plight, but ya better be careful.....Juz a word of advice there. She is a bundle of joy, since we bought her on 01/nov/97. She lights up our little world and tell us much about being optimistic and also not to be petty.Lucky opened up our hearts and let us see the world in a bigger and more relaxed manner. Dogs are real teachers better than any lecturers or professors in the universe.

Spending a time of her life in 7th heaven. It is a joy to see her prance in the air to get that stick while playing fetch. It lifts up ones spirit and is really like chicken soup for the mind and body. Sometimes seeing her sleep and watching the slow and rythmic, yet peaceful breathing is so peaceful. I just love her so much!!! The joy she gives to us will be remembered forever even to the day she die. Her soul shall remain and bring fire to this house.Sometimes, I wonder why good things come in small packages is in saying about dogs and other loyal pets in all shapes and sizes. Lucky and all other committed pets that help and charm their owners in each and every little thing that they do(Like perphaps juz smile up and lick your face) are the perfect examples for this proverb. Please write to me if you know or own Jack Russell terriers , if you don't and would be happy to get one, I will tell you more about them.See you Soon. | Having loads of fun!

A Tail of her — The thief of hearts Here is a beautiful essay of Dogs! |
Dogs as man's best friend really live up to their names. We heard of numerous heroic rescues of humans being saved by dogs. Sometimes these dogs may be stray or even beaten up by their previous owners. Then why, does it rescue people with no thought of their safety? Many would think that dogs are simple animals. However, in my opinion, that is a wrong way of thinking. They think in much simpler ways, I suppose, as they accept reality sometimes more easily then humans do. They are compassionate animals that will risk their safety just for us. Dogs have given us their absolute all. When we are sad, our canine friends, will lie their big furry heads on our laps, and lick your tears away. After a day's hard work and perhaps even scolding from your teachers, your four-legged friend will be there to cheer you on. His constant tail-wagging "exercise" gives us the ability to live on with the cruel situations in life that we must learn to overcome. That's why some dogs are working as therapists in foreign hospitals. A dog is filled with love and passion for living. A Chihuahua had had leg amputated to prevent diabetes from spreading to her body. He now has a metal leg on wheels. Fortunately, his sprit is ever lasting. The loyal thing still sends his owner off for work with as much faith and love in his heart as before the operation. The above story is a true story that happened in Chicago. The Chihuahua zest for life has not changed a bit. Perhaps he does not treat it as a handicap; jut a small difference between him and others of his breed. It seems to him as an insignificant difficulty that can be overcome easily. To me, everyone is handicap in each of his or her own personal ways. Nobody is perfect. We may be handicapped in sports or subjects. Although this is not a physical handicap but rather a mental one, we should overcome these obstacles as best as we can. Dogs help us see the aspects of life in a special angle. They widen our scope and hope for life. They are the limelight of our life. They are the silent "pushers", bundles of joy that keep us going and striving for the best. Encouraging instead of finding fault with the little things that we do. Slowly boosting up our confidence and making us more certain of our own identity. They teach us to meet every day as a challenge and not a difficulty. They teach us to forgive and bring new hope to our lives. They never utter a word of criticism or any forms of complaints that we, Singaporeans are notorious for. They are indeed professors in disguise under those thick, glossy coats of theirs. They have numerous hidden talents waiting to share with their human companions. Dogs are such agreeable friends. They ask no questions, they pass no criticisms. The choice is ours with no interference form them. They give us unacquainted love that one will never experience till they get a dog. Covering our faces with wet, sloppy faces and comforting us when we are feeling down. We, as human beings are the focus of their lives, the centre of their universe. The main projectile for their love and trust. To them we are Napoleon Boulevard, warriors, God. They adore us and love us from the very bottom of their heart. I believe all dog owners will agree that dogs are simply the best deal man has ever made.
